At the Funkhaus Wien
The Climate Summit will take place on 13 and 14 April 2026 at the Funkhaus Wien, bringing together stakeholders from the worlds of science, the arts, politics, activism and civil society to discuss perspectives on the climate crisis and concrete solutions. Keynotes, panels and participatory formats will focus on three thematic blocks: regenerative economic and food systems, climate-social urban development, and issues relating to youth participation, education, rights and democracy.
Participants include Luisa Neubauer, Franz Essl, Emanuele Coccia, Sigrid Stagl and Nikolaj Schultz, amongst others.
The event is open to all interested parties and offers a space for exchange, inspiration and concrete ideas for action.

UNICEF Youth Advisory Board at the Climate Summit
UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, advocates for children’s rights worldwide, including in Austria. The UNICEF Austria Youth Advisory Board, in which twelve young people contribute their perspectives and opinions, works on issues such as sustainability, equality and participation. On 14 April, the Youth Advisory Board will organise a programme item for the Climate Summit in collaboration with the Vienna Climate Biennale. Among other things, the discussion will focus on what a meaningful role for young people in climate protection might look like.
