'Undercurrents — What Water Remembers' is devoted to the memory of water. Emerging from the lab 'Shhh… Listening with Waters' (Oct 2025–May 2026), Graziele Sena da Silva, Susana Ojeda, and Zuzana Ernst, together with participants and Sinopale Artist in Residence Çiğdem Borucu, develop a site-specific sound work that makes voices from the hidden waterways beneath the neighborhood audible.
On May 8, a listening procession moves through the Brunnenviertel. The collective sonic ritual understands listening as a political, anti-fascist practice against forgetting.
A cooperation between Brunnenpassage, Initiative Erinnern in Zukunft, Sinopale: International Sinop Biennale, ÆSR Lab, within the framework of Klima Biennale Wien.
