YouRban Future Lab: Shaping Circularity

In this workshop, we explore industrial plastics not as waste, but as materials for transformation. Through hands-on exercises, participants discover how glass fiber reinforced plastics can be turned into functional objects for urban spaces. Technical knowledge meets creative reflection, revealing the hidden potential of seemingly useless materials. The session encourages exchange and critically examines how design can respond to ecological and social challenges. 

A collaboration between designaustria and Politecnico di Milano in the YouRban project, together with the Institute of Design Research Vienna (IDRV) and the International Institute of Information Design (IIID).
